LeAnn was a very sweet gal. She had a terrific smile. I wish she was still here. I know she would be so proud of her son WD. He has grown into a wonderful family man. I am sure she is looking down from Heavan and watching us all.

Molly, it was a wonderous pleasure that we fell into contact those last couple of years before you took off to heaven.  The stories you shared with me about the family and Shannon were heart warming and made me laugh a lot.  You were a enthusiastic tigress in high school and knowing you as an adult, close to the end, made me a better husband and human being.  I love you and my memories of you are forever in my heart.

Kathy was the sweetest friend. We traveled with the Spanish Club to Mexico. She hated goats cheese, and ended up eating tacos with goats cheese for dinner one night. Her eyes teared up, and she worked through it.
She was a great friend...A wonderful person..She was the kindest person I had ever met in school. Of course her Spanish speaking skills got us through the trip. I will miss her and valued her friendship.
Senor Patterson was so intolerable of this behavior. He was pretty much an asshole. But Katherine delt with the situation gracefully.
May you rest in peace, Katherine. You were my comrade...
I love you and miss your friendship.

Kathy and I grew up together as kids used to spend the night at each others house we lost touch once we grew up but our moms were friends and I knew what was going on. She was a very kind person

The first time you met Virginia, you never forgot her. She had a highly contagious smile that stuck with you throughout the day!

Virigina and I hung out together with Marganna Dean and Genet Darcy. She was fun to be with.  We lost touch through the years once in a while a phone call but she remained cheerfull and very spiritual.  Although I had not seen her in a couple of decades I cried when I found out she had passed the world lost a good soul.  God gained a great angel. She is probably organizing heaven

Leonore’s quiet laugh and bright smile made the long bus ride from Breen memorable…in a good way.   She was a soft spoken, beautiful girl and such a kind person.  She never expressed a negative thought about anyone.

Dear Friends,  Shannon was the better half of our Head Boy and Head Girl team.  That smile in this picture is perfect, as are the memories of our classes together and the energy she brought to the school, and the support she gave us all during our years at Riverview and all the way up to DHS.  May you rest in rapturous peace my friend.

David was a great guy...We went through school from elementary through DHS. I had just moved back to Durango when I learned of his passing. I couldn't believe it. He was a great friend and classmate. We enjoyed many classes together, my mother teaching him music through his younger years. We will always remember you, David. Friends are never forgotten.

From Karen McKinnis on February 22nd, 2013
When I think back to my school years, the one person I always remember is David. He was one of the  nice guys. David and I attened school from elementary to high school. The people who used to babysit my sister and I lived very close to Davids' family. I remember many sunny days playing with David and his sister Darla.

When we got into high school, David without a doubt one of the nicest guys in school. I remember being invited to a party where I showed up all dressed up and everyone else was in jeans and t-shirts. Poor David spent the entire evening bouncing back and forth between me and his date for the party. He sat and talked with me and danced with me on several occasions. He knew some of the other people at the party were making fun of my faux pas and he went out of his way to make sure I had some fun that night. David, you'll never know how much that meant to me becasue I never took the time to tell you or thank you. I really miss you, especially at our reuniouns when I'm with Darla and Delvin, but not you. Rest in peace old friend, you are gone but never, ever forgotten.
